Any self-identifying Democrat living and registered to vote in Morgan County is invited to apply for membership.
Steps for application to join* the Morgan County Democrats: a resident of Morgan County must:
- Pay a $25 Membership APPLICATION Fee by clicking here.
- Download and fill out THIS FORM.
- Email the form to info@morgandems.org
*In the event there is a vacancy to fill:
- Potential members will then need to attend a Monthly Meeting, introduce themselves, and be subject to questions.
- Then, the board members will vote to accept the applicant, subject to vacancy by district and caucuses.
- If approved, the new member shall be granted voting rights for the Morgan County Democratic Executive Committee.
The next open election for popularly elected members is every 4 years during the primary of the Midterm Elections.
The Committee meets every 2nd Thursday of every month at the Decatur-Morgan County Entrepreneurial Center, 1629 4th Ave SE, Decatur, AL 35601
